Objective
The objectives of the seminar were to identify key issues, expand on substantive skills and further knowledge on the law of bail and sentencing.
Summary
Led by experienced trial and appellate judges, through a combination of substantive lectures, exercise-based fact scenarios, and small group work, this half-day program explored: functions of bail; onus and burden of bail reviews; forms of bail; and drafting sentencing decisions.
