This program focused on settlement conferencing with an additional session on time management and strategies for optimal productivity.

Objectives

The objective of this seminar was to learn effective approaches to resolving tax proceedings in settlement conferences and to explore strategies for time management.

Summary

Led by experienced judges of the Court, the seminar used a combination of presentations, case scenarios, demonstrations and interactive questions and answers to explore settlement conferencing techniques. The time management session was led by a psychologist who presented on optimizing productivity and staying on top of reserve decisions.
