Objective
The primary objectives of the seminar were to educate Family Court judges on expert evidence in child protection proceedings and the impact of familial violence on children.
Summary
Featuring sessions combining lectures, panel discussions and interactions with participants, this one-day seminar considered the use of expert evidence in child protection proceedings and the impact of intimate partner and familial violence on children and adolescents. Participants heard from leading experts and academics and experienced judges on these issues.
