Overview

This education session enhanced participants’ understanding of the various forms of communication, main stream media and their influence on the public.

Objective

The objective of this event was to broaden the perspective and information base of the members of the court with respect to the impact of social media and technology.

Summary

Speakers were James Lo, a Social Media Specialist, who gave a primer to the judges of the Court, followed by Dr. Tom Keenan, Professor  at the University of Calgary and Freelance Reporter, who spoke about forms of communication, main stream media and influence on the public.
