Summary

This program, which was sponsored by the PEI Human Rights Commission, was delivered in conjunction with the Shift Project and consisted of a 75 minute meeting with an award-winning guest speaker and social justice advocate during Sexual Assault Awareness Week. 

The guest speaker’s own sexual assault case became the first in North America to conclude with restorative justice through the courts and she reviewed the principles of restorative justice with members of the court on September 21, 2022.
