Lunch and Learn Sessions

The Supreme Court of Nova Scotia offers lunch and learn sessions to its judges. A one hour session on wire-tap authorizations under the Criminal Code was offered. It dealt in detail with the security concerns surrounding that process and the legal tests to be applied. Another session presented a skills-based panel on judicial settlement conferences. Panel members provided best practices advice and led a discussion on how judges can make best use of the process.
