This three-day seminar focused on a variety of legal and practical topics relevant to the work of the Court of Queen’s Bench of Alberta.

Objective

The objectives of the seminar were to improve participants’ awareness of current issues facing the court and to expand on substantive skills and future knowledge on a variety of topics.

Summary

Led by experienced judges, legal academics, and other practitioners, through a mix of lectures, panel discussions and interactive activities, the three-day seminar explored: updates on evidence; restorative justice; spousal support in family law; technology; and judicial wellness.
