Through a mix of lectures, panel discussions and interactive activities, the program explored: third party records in sexual assault cases; intimate partner violence; firearms and illegal drugs; the role of children’s services in parenting disputes; interjurisdictional issues in family law; and cryptocurrency.

This three-day seminar focused on a variety of legal and practical topics relevant to the work of the Court of King’s Bench of Alberta.
Objectives
The objectives of the seminar were to improve participants’ awareness of current issues facing the court and to expand on substantive skills and knowledge in relation to a variety of topics.
