A complainant wrote but did not identify any conduct about which he wished to complain.

20160018 - A complainant wrote but did not identify any conduct about which he wished to complain. Rather, he asked several questions about the hearing, the exercise of discretion by the judge, the rules of practice and of evidence, the procedures, etc. It is not the role of Council to answer such questions and to provide advice. While we understand that the law may be quite difficult to fully understand for an untrained person, the Council cannot help in this regard. We advised that the complainant may wish to consult with legal aid or any of the legal help organisations in their province, such as the Community Legal Education Association.
