20160009 - The complainant alleges that the judge prevented him from speaking on several occasions. It should be noted that the complainant was represented by counsel and it was up to the lawyer to present the file. It is up to the judge to tightly control the debate, if necessary, and to exercise due diligence, to maintain a climate of dignity, equality and order in the courtroom. During testimony, the judge may intervene to prevent the submission of irrelevant or ineligible evidence. Where a party considers itself to be at a disadvantage and believes that it has been prevented from fully presenting its case, the appropriate remedy is an appeal and is not a matter for the Council.
