20160015 - The complainant alleged that the judge shouted at her during her hearing and claimed the judge was constantly talking over her. It was noted that whenever a judge addresses the parties, whoever is speaking at the time should stop and sit down. It is improper for a litigant to continue arguing when a judge interrupts or asks for silence. It is the duty of the judge to and when necessary assert firm control over the proceeding so as to maintain an atmosphere of dignity, equality, and order in the courtroom. The matter was closed.
