Including special guests from the University of Victoria Indigenous Law program, an event was held to celebrate the installation of 6 pieces of Indigenous artwork, including land acknowledgements, in the Whitehorse Courthouse atrium in an event called Towards Reconciliation.

Including special guests from the University of Victoria Indigenous Law program, an event was held to celebrate the installation of 6 pieces of Indigenous artwork, including land acknowledgements, in the Whitehorse Courthouse atrium in an event called Towards Reconciliation.  The local bar, First Nations representatives and other participants in the Justice system were invited.  The artists, the Chiefs of the two local First Nations, the Grand Chief of the Council for Yukon First Nations, the Minister of Justice (Yukon) and the Chiefs of both courts also delivered remarks.
