A full-day program that included the African Nova Scotian Access to Justice Judicial Committee at which judges worked to become more familiar with the African Nova Scotian committees that they serve. Special speakers provided context and history and discussed their lived experiences as residents.  Judges also heard about intergenerational trauma and the decades of systemic racism and discrimination that African Nova Scotians have faced.
