The complainant alleges that the judge is biased and refuses to hear her as result of being self-represented.

20170024 - The complainant alleges that the judge is biased and refuses to hear her as result of being self-represented. More specifically, the complainant alleges that the judge did not treat the opposing party equally to her. She further alleges that the judge ignored pertinent evidence and facts. She alleges that the judge has violated agreed upon terms and intentionally left out certain elements and deadlines that were discussed.

Bare statements are not sufficient indicators of a judge’s partiality. Judges are responsible for exercising judicial decision-making, which includes but is not limited to the assessment of the evidence. Council cannot review the manner in which a judge exercised his judicial discretion. These are legal issues to be brought before the Court.

The matter does not warrant further consideration.
