Update in the Canadian Judicial Council Hearings into the conduct of the Honourable Gérard Dugré

Given the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the Government of Quebec recently issued renewed confinement rules, affecting all persons until 8 February 2021.  A curfew is also now in place.

Consequently, on 7 January 2021, the Inquiry Committee met by teleconference and decided to postpone their hearings to the weeks of April 12 to 23; May 17 to 21; and from 31 May to 30 June 2021.

The hearings will be held in person or virtually depending on the public health situation at that time.
