Media Advisory - Request to hold the hearing in camera - Inquiry into the conduct of the Honourable Gérard Dugré, j.s.c.

Please be advised that the Inquiry Committee mandated to look into the conduct of the Honourable Gérard Dugré, j.s.c. has received a request that the hearing on its inquiry scheduled to begin on January 18, 2021 in Montreal be held, in part, in camera.

It is requested that the following be ordered:

[TRANSLATION] that the evidence from the family case files S.S. (CJC 19-0318), A. (CJC 19-0014), S.C. (CJC 19-0392) and K.S. (CJC 18-0301) be filed under seal or at least anonymized [...] and that the inquiry on these matters be held in camera;
