File a Complaint

The following questions will help determine whether the complaint you are looking to file can be dealt with by the Canadian Judicial Council. 

The Council can only accept complaints involving federally appointed judges. You can see a full listing of the courts that federally appointed judges sit on here

Please note that the Council has no power to review or change a judge’s decision. The appropriate recourse in such matters is to appeal the decision.
